    I am looking for opinions on the best Visual Basic database related book. Nothing specific, but preferably something that covers alot.

    I have Visual Basic 6 Database Programming, by Fronckowiak and Helda.

    It's pretty good, but not for a total beginner...

    What sort of database are you interested in, Jet, SQL Server or ORACLE etc?

    good question the book i suggested deal mainly with MSAccess the information carries over somewhat but all the examples use Access...
