Hosting Web Site Question
Hello,
I just installed Windows XP Professional and IIS and I was wondering what I need to do so that I can host my website on my home machine. Any help would be great.

Open up IIS (Control Panel > Admin Tools > IIS) ..... Right-click "Default web-site" .... goto Properties and set your prefs. Click the "Play" button to begin IIS. (it's on the toolbar)
Your root directory defaults to C:\Inetpub\wwwroot
You can access your site in IE by going to: http://localhost

If you are wondering about hosting it in a way that the "outside" world can access it you may want to take a look at this thread: Host Site myself
