    :s

My friend sent a program that does exactly what I want and that program was written in vb 5! How is it possible to do so in vb5 if we can't do it in vb .net?

Btw, I am a newbie to .net so I dunno too much of it yet!

Well... You haven't mentioned what's that program ! anyways , probably when you convert it first to VB6 , then you can use the integrated VB6 Converter within VS.NET .

I am a completely newbie to visual studio .net :S
but i've used vb6 and below for about 6 years.
the converter in .net converts the project written in vb6, however, there are tons of error after converting though

What is it that you are trying to do?

I don't know why it works in vb 5 and not .net.
