Out Of Memory While Making An Exe From A Project In Visual Basic

I am getting problem of "OUT OF MEMORY" WHILE i make an exe from a project. however on my development m/c which is just celeron 266 and 64 mb ram , it's not a prob while the problem pops up on the client m/c which is P4 and 128 mb ram. i checked with the running processes and killed all other processes on client's machine which is not required for making an .exe. finally i made only explorer running in memory


can anybody tell me what's wrong with the client machine ???

After i get the msg. OUT OF MEMORY , i am not able to do anything at all. the msgbox does not vanish and i have to kill the vb IDE.


if i need to change some code at client site , i need to make an exe there.

Is VB highlighting a certain line of your code when it pops up "Out of Memory" - if it is please post that line of code on the forum for further analysis!

Why are you "making an exe" on the client PC rather than installing on that PC?
