More than 1 Operating System
I've recently bought a new Hard drive and installed windows on that drive, deleting the other windows on the previous hdd. But when booting up the system still gives the option of booting with the previous version of windows (of course it doesn't work). How would I go about preventing the option of booting with the old version coming up.

it may be hidden but be VERY VERY carful with this file your os will not start without it
To access it goto the run menu type notepad c:\boot.ini
in notepad goto File > Save As
Then type a file name like 'copy of my boot file'
then upload it here

That's not really necessary.
Right-click My Computer >> click properties...
Click advanced... then click settings on "Startup & Recovery" and uncheck "Time to display operating systems".
Click OK then apply.
That will then use the default OS which was last installed.
<ABX was partially right... as you can edit the boot.ini file manually and remove the line to the other partition... but it's safer to just hide it. As he said... get it wrong, and kiss goodbye to your OS!!! both of 'em!

Paul.

Good Ol' Platypus
There's a way to make Windows do this automatically for you, I believe. System-format a floppy disk (to make it a boot disk), or just have a boot disk handy... pop it in, restart, type:Take the disk out, and reboot. Should be all done for you now. Take care to ONLY use that exact spelling as fdisk can royally screw up your disk
