    Unicycle?

Does anyone here ride a unicycle? Is it possible to actually go someplace on one, as opposed to going forward a little bit, and then back a little bit, etc. If anyone does ride, do they have any suggestions for what kind a beginner might need?

    Thanks

I would suggest buying some pads to wear, and a helmet and knee guards
    and such.

I once saw a bloke leaving Marlow BR station on one. So I think he used it to and from the stations, and it was probably easy to take into the carriage and park by his desk at work.

If you need lessons, Mika Hakkinen's your man- he was a circus performer before he got a day job in F1 and I saw him on the telly doing the unicycle bit in a circus.
