    Program "Not Responding" in task bar

    Greetings,

    My prgram keeps going into "Not Responding" mode, when it is stuffing data into a database. What are some good methods to see where this "Not Responding" problem occurs. I was hoping an error handler would do it; but apparently I'll need to try something else.

    Thank you, DoEvents did indeed solve that problem. Now if I could just get my app to quit moving like a turtle. Hmmm.

    Does anyone know of a quick way to scan a large table to see if a given record already exists?
