It's something not really related to VB, but I don't know where I should put it.
The situation is:
I got a notebook, and travelling around. Whenever I go to a place, I have to connect to their LAN. Everytime I have to change a lot settings, domain, workgroup, DNS, IP etc..
Is there anyway to 'SAVE' and 'LOAD' these kinds of settings?

If there is, I don't know of it. Ask the system administrator if there is a DHCP service there. DHCP will automatically set the correct settings for that particular lan. You only have to tell Windows that one exists. This only works with tcp/ip though. If you need to change settings relating to the lan but that are not specific to tcp/ip, you are probably screwed.

i'm working on a little program, that sets ip adresses, subnetmasks, etc. Settings can be saved, so you'd just have to load the saved file and apply
