When the War-Mongers can't even see straight ....
There have been numerous rumours and false leads. There was the case of the US soldiers who were overcome by the "effects of a nerve agent" near Karbala. It turned out that they had been suffering from dehydration and recovered quickly after food and drink. The suspect chemicals proved to be pesticides.
So much for the WMDs found

Well ...
And what's the reason you wouldn't let the UN inspectors do this job? Maybe they wouldn't have toppled Saddam for you, right?

They couldn't do their job, with the Iraqi government blocking every move they made. Refusing them to enter sites that were on the inspection lists, hasa tendency of hindering an investigation.
