    Why do you need so much code when its so simple with the Winsock Control?

    Code:
    Text1.Text = Winsock1.LocalIP
    Text2.Text = Winsock.LocalHost

    DOS : QBasic 4.5 , Visual Basic For DOS

    Do both things really do the same thing? Just wondering...

    I have a routine to check if a selection is in a listbox.
    JOP showed an API call which would find if the target line
    was in a listbox. Unfortunately, It would find the first
    example of the Target as a subset of the listbox entry, not
    ONLY exact matches.

    Good Luck
