How can I fix this ?[Unresolved yet]

Yes I posted it there thinking there is a tool can fix this but I think I'm wrong . anyways , I scaned that folder but abviously no viruses . Basically , this happened right after I moved that partition 500MB . The content only messed up nothing else . Size and name still the same .

I port scan my system once and a while to see if any are hosting TCP servers. You would be surprised what you find.

A port is used to connect to a remote server. For instance, if you connect to a web page then you request to connect to the web server on port 80. Some programs sit and wait for similar requests and then allow connections to your computer through any port. I suggest you go to this web site. It should tell you if you are vulnerable to attacks:

If you're running win 2k or win xp, then go to administrative tools and open computer management.
Then check that Sessions (Under Shared Folders) is empty.

What's with you guys ? Wasn't the problem well-described . . It have nothing to do with active connection . They're offline pages . I saved them of different websites . They're just fine but after moving one of my partitions , they ****ed up ! No viruses , No errors shown , Size and exts are the same . Anyone can only describe what's wrong ?

They probably got destroyed in the partition moving. S*** happens...

BTW, you didn't describe the problem very well. It sounded as if those HTMLs had appeared out of nothing.

Hmm , I will try to describe it as much as I can . I moved one of the partitions (to be specific D towards another partition (E .This part smoothly done (no errors) . Then I traversed through the D partition to check for data and their sizes . They were the same as the original . I ran one of these pages on D (they are more than 30 pages), I found they were ****ed up (scrambled) as shown in the attachtment above . Some said , maybe they were converted to ASCII or Binary . I scand the disk , ran Norton but with no luck !

BTW , but also , some mpeg and exe , zip files I discovered on that partition were messed up . Help what on earth is this ?

As I said, I think the moving has messed it up.

Converted from text to binary is **** btw. All files are binary.

Are you sure that you are reading plain text html files?

Maybe your browser on the new partition does not have a plugin or knowledge of the mime type that is embedded in the file.

I didn't understand your question the first time so I didn't post a response.

Is your file named "Why You Won't Switch To C.html"? It's not showing the extension in the title bar. What's up with that?

Anyway, I just renamed an html file to have no extension and I dragged it to my browser and it still loaded okay.

None of your options guys seems to solve my problem yet ! . I changed ext , renamed the file , copied it to another partition ,... etc . Phenix , you were talking about plugins and embedding , what are these ?

Code to be read by plugins can't be embedded. I say the files are destroyed. Do you have a backup?

Next time you'll know better. Always make backups when messing with the harddisk, especially the partitions.
