    Talking Winsock

    I have a client/server program that is a like an instant messaging program...

    Now i'm using winsock to connect the client and the server but i dont know how to do this..I'm using winsock1 on form5...

    The user chooses if they are the client or server..

    If they choose client, a screen will ask them to type in the server's network ID and then hit connect and form3 will come up and tell the user that the program is connecting with the server

    If they choose server..form4 will pop up and it will tell them it's connecting with the client.

    How can i make the program connect to the client or server using the winsock control on form5?

    Or..does anyone know a way i can make the program connect on form3 (for client) or form4 (for server) and then still stay connected on form5 (the IM form)?
