    Angry Outlook closes

I cannot understand why Outlook hangs with this error and closes:

    ---------------------------
    Message: OUTLOOK.EXE - Application Error
    ---------------------------
The instruction in "0x308e00de" references to memory at "0x00000006". The memory cannot be "read".
Click Ok to end this program
Click CANCEL to debug this program
    ---------------------------
    Ok Cancel
    ---------------------------
Does anybody have any idea why this is happening or how to solve it?
    Emiliano F. Martín

It's W2k. Anyway.... what's the error code? I'm not getting an error code but a memory and an instruction's address. None of them would be useful for a search.

    I've already

    • repaired Office,
    • re-installed Office
    • and uninstalled Outlook and re-installed it again.

I've also run each Outlook's SP I found and upgraded the IE to 6. None of these seems to fix the problem.
