    C# and VB.Net

I'm going to take both C# and VB.Net this fall at school. I already have a strong background in C++ and VB6.

I'm not going to be overwhelmed trying to learn the two, am I?

Since you already know VB and C++ syntax...no problem.

Both languages, besides the syntax, are pretty much the same since they use the same framework. You will have no problems at all.

Hmm, I'm surprised you're getting credit for both. Their too similar to require separate courses, at least IMO (then again, such school classes are usually slow-paced. What I've covered in nearly 4 months of my college C++ class I could have easily learned in a couple of weeks on my own)!

    I'll agree to that.

The VB.Net class is just a Visual Basic class, although, starting next semester, they work with VB.Net. The C# class is a new one that was added.

I figured why not? Better than taking Frisbee or something.
