Underground Nuclear weapons plant found in Iraq

A series of underground Bunkers were discovered today in Iraq containing an apparent Nuclear weapons facility. Weapons grade Plutonium was detected.

Man those Inspectors are soooo good, i can't beleive we didn't let them stay in Iraq for another 2 years, they might have found that by then!

The BBC is a bunch of bullsheit aswell. The BBC definatly isn't much better than FOX/SKY, CNN, MSNBC or Al Jazeera. They are all biased one way or another. The BBC just happens to be biased towards you opinion or what you believe to be truth. I got the links from fox because it was Fox's reporters traveling with US Marines that shot the footage. Call it entertainment but it is still live entertainment and I saw the pictures.

If you are arguing that the marines didn't find Suspected nuke/bio weapons facilities because fox broke the story, then I hear that Iraq is currently looking for someone to fill a vacant information minister position. You may be interested I was told you get a free palace and as many women as you feel up to kidnapping.

Yeah if you remember this is the same unbiased "news" organization in which one of its own embedded reporters in Iraq complained about writing slanted and misrepresentative stories and not telling it like it really was.

I guess some people are content to listen to spin. As long as it tells them exactly what they want to hear

How do you figure Fox is entertainment? Fox just happens to report the news with no spin. Some people can't stand the truth so Fox tends to turn them off, but I, on the other hand, watch Fox and MSNBC mainly, just because i can't stand the giberish and spin every other news orginization puts on thier news.

I went to the BBC news site, and the first thing it asked me was whether or not I was in the UK. It said it asks this so it can talor its news for me......

HOW LOVELY, it is going to give me different stories based on where I live!!!! That is truly balanced news! I have lost ALL respect for BBC. I used to trust them for the most part, but now they can shove thier news in their ass.

It is to bad they have to do this. The news should be the same no matter where I am from.

Fox definatly throws biased crap on it. They all do. They have to please the people who pay them. Someone trying to tell me that the BBC is the only real news needs to put on a name tag and tell that BullSheit to the fooking tourists. I was listening to the BBC last night, It was the third biggest anti-american broadcast I ever heard. If that is the type of crap they are pumping out over there It's no wonder the euros are starting to hate the US. I spose since they don't need us to protect them from the Soviets any more they think it's fine to bash us.

Why should i give my head a shake? Point me to a better/more fair/more unbiased news source if there is one. IMO there isn't. I think it's been shown that the BBC definately is not it.

The reporters that complain about being censored are not only from the BBC. There will be similar comments from journalists of all three major American networks. What CNN, MSNBC, and FOX show is all true (troops giving out food, etc). But its only part of the truth. But they are being patriotic to a point where they censor out the bad part of the war. Now there are networks on the other extreme, like CBC in canada that only report the bad part of the war (children maimed by bombs, etc).

I don't think there is any news organization that is completely objective. But you don't watch the"other" networks because you don't like what they report. the "Giberish" they report is most likely true, albeit not the complete truth. I personally watch both, so I can see both sides. Avoiding what you don't like is nothing short of ignorance.

These reporters who were there putting their lives on the line will have something to say once they're back, when they see what has actually been reported.

I agree there is another side to the war, but most other networks make waaaaaay to much of it. Fox showed a kid who had both arms blowed off and his whole family died from a U.S. bomb. It's not like they don't show the other side of the war.. they show both sides, they just don't concentrate on every thing that is bad.

I know innocent people are and will continue to die because of this war, i don't need to see the dead bodies of them or our soldiers or Iraqi soldiers. A lot of news networks try to use one death as a reason for why war is bad and they use it as propaganda... just like Aljazera TV.

So far there have been, even by leftist numbers, less than 1,000 civilian deaths, which is alot, but it's nothing compared to what all the Anti-War people were saying would happen... on this very message board people like HB and plenderj used numbers like 100,000+.

Fox shows both sides of the war, even though they may concentrate a little less on the grim death parts by showing video of dead bodies etc..

I stay away from Fox...no wait, I stay away from TV, the whole medium is nothing but tripe. Fox is well known for its bias. You like it because the bias conforms to your well-stated views. Fox is regarded as a conservative broadcasting station. The slant is pro-conservative, and fairly appalling to those who don't share that view. If you don't feel that you have been influenced by that, it can only be because you were already conforming to that view. After all, our views are shaped by the events we have experienced. That media is experience as well, and shapes you.

Just for the record. I didn't vote for Bush...I voted for Gore. And have always been called a liberal. However, I agree completely with what Bush is doing. So I guess you could say I "Woke up and smelled the coffee" and although I don't consider myself to be a conservative (or a liberal for that matter) I do agree with the directions Bush is taking this country. As far as the media is concerned Fox has lost a lot of respect among it's viewers for it constantly reporting (prematurely) that WMD's were found. CNN has lost all integrity after Eason Jordan spilled the beans about them knowing what was going on this whole time and covering it up just so they could keep their Baghdad Branch open. That's why I watch MSNBC.

BTW...I'll be voting for Bush in 2004

Like Shaggy said, you only dislike those stations because they don't conform to your view. Its funny how you can so easily dismiss stations as being pure-propoganda.

Before all this started, BBC was considered one of the most objective networks, simply because its not Al-jazeera, and its not CNN.

Fox and MSNBC are practically identical in the news they report, i watch both channels all day and night since i work at home

I do not beleive FOX or MSNBC are reporting propaganda, i beleive they report the truth. Granted they may not show as much of the Bad side of war as they should sometimes, but they certainly are not spouting Propaganda and lies like Aljazera etc..

Comparing FOX with Aljazera is like Comparing the American Imfomation Minister with the Iraq Information Minister, one is obviously full of sheit while the other is not. My point is, i don't feel as though i am being brain washed and only watching what i wanna hear... I feel as though i am watching the truth. Ofcourse i'm sure the people watching Iraqi TV felt they were watching the truth too, but FOX and MSNBC report to the entire world and thier news reporting is obviously a million times less propagandized than a Station that caters to a certain click of people.

My main disagreement with you was when you chucked BBC into the same category as Al-Jazeera (CBC can go to hell). They are further left than most American stations, but they aren't propoganda. The people who produce it could very well have relatives and friends fighting in iraq now.

The BBC is mostly crap. Total propaganda and spin. Aside from their own reporters complaining about what they print and say the Royal Navy kicked them off a ship for their obviously bias and anti-war propaganda. I mean the day the statue came down in the middle of Baghdad the BBC top story was the earthquake in India

So? The earthquake probably killed people. The statue is just a symbolic (and, IMHO, unneccesary) gesture.
