would i encounter a problem and don't know a code if a start using .NET or is it just a prettier ( display) version.
    thanks

VB.NET is just prettier, other than that there are absolutely zero differences between VB.NET and VB6 and earlier versions.

That isn't true, there are a lot of differences. Get a book to get you up to speed. It isn't too hard.

Sorry, should've stated a little differently,
<Sarcasm>VB.NET is just prettier, other than that there are absolutely zero differences between VB.NET and VB6 and earlier versions.</Sarcasm> Is that better?
