I wonder why this one is not working.

datareports1.sections("pageheader").controls("lbldate").caption=format(dataenvironment1.rsmaster("in voicedate"),"dd.mm.yy")

in that invoicedate is a datetime field in ms-access.
the result im getting is.

mm.dd.yy instead of dd.mm.yy

the user will keep on changing the control panel date format.

how can i get rid of this problem?
