    Boot INI Help

    Code:
    [boot loader]
    timeout=30
    default=signature(2c3d2c3c)disk(1)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS
    [operating systems]
    signature(2c3d2c3c)disk(1)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional On 20Gig" /fastdetect
    signature(2c3d2c3c)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional On 80Gig" /fastdetect
    C:\="Microsoft Windows"
    Heres My Problem

    I Have a 80 GIG Hard drive with Win98 And WinXP (Diff partitions)
    and i have windows XP installed on my 20 Gig HardDrive. How do i change this so I can boot from Win98 (80Gig), WinXP (80Gig) and WinXP (20Gig). As you can see this doesnt work too well.

    My 80 Gig is My Primary Master and My 20 is my Primary Slave.
    Tips:
    • Google is your friend! Search before posting!
    • Name your thread appropriately... "I Need Help" doesn't cut it!
    • Always post your code!!!! We can't read your mind!!! (well, at least most of us!)
    • Allways Include the Name and Line of the Exception (if one is occuring!)
    • If it is relevant state the version of Visual Studio/.Net Framwork you are using (2002/2003/2005)

    Don't play with boot.ini. If you want to load from a different partition, press F8 on the screen that proceeds after the memory test but is displayed before the Windows XP logo appears.

    i thought you coudl only boot from the primary master? (like, the bootloader has to be installed in teh MBR of the primary master on the first IDE controller int eh BIOS list capable of booting..if that makes sense)
