Re: Why Iraq is a great place to live
So what does that have to do with anything ?
Or is this your justification for the war ?

I'd love to go there...not right now, of course, but one day. The area between the Indus and Euphrates is considered to be the cradle of civilisation.

It'll be a crater of civilisation after the US are finished warmongering.

Amidst all the opposition and devil's advocate-ness, you still manage to sneak an ignorant comment in there. Warmongering...

lol true...
i mean come on.. if we REALLY wanted to.. Iraq wouldn't even exist anymore.. but we aren't carpet bombing or anything like that.. we are using satellite guided bombs to hit military targets.. to protect the people..
now I won't say there are no and wont be more civilian casulties.. but if I lived in Iraq.. and especially in Baghdad.. I would have gotten the hell out the minute bombs started dropping

Yes true you could flatten the entire country... lol well the parts that aren't already flat... like all 1% of it, but anyway, yeah you could carpet bomb the place - but I don't think there should be a war at all.
So you can't justify a war by saying you'll be careful.

Plenderj it must be convienient for you to look at the world with Rose colored glasses on. But for most of us, we know reality when we see it.
Keep living in your own little world where peace can achieve anything, and the bunnies and squirrels playfully hop around, and all things on earth live in peace and harmony. That would be a nice place to live, but unfortunately it isn't the world we live in.

The old tires protected the torturer while the victim stood on a wet floor and was electrocuted
Stupid iraqui's, they don't know the argentine invention called "electric picana": a stick taken from an old sweeper with a nail and a cable attached to it. The wood stick isolates the torturer so he can stand comfortably on the floor.

Before you wuote me:
Before you ask for links that prove my assert:
http://internationalstudies.uchicago...iusrejali.html
Search for "argentine" because the topic is a little deep into the text.
And that is a serious link: university of chicago.edu

What on earth are you talking about ?
I never said we live in a lovely world.
All I said is that the US is warmongering, which I believe it is.
warmonger /"wO;mVNg@/
· n. a person who seeks to bring about or promote war.
– DERIVATIVES warmongering n. & adj.
Threatening and then invading Iraq.
Threatening North Korea. Threatening many Arab States.
You use war as a threat to make sure people don't do anything that could pose a threat to you.
Your country is paranoid and xenophobic.
And as someone with an awful lot of relatives and friends in the US, I can say that with some certainty.
How is what you're doing not warmongering ?
You blew Afghanistan to pieces, and you're not blowing Iraq to pieces.
This world is not a nice place to live in, but if the US keep throwing their weight around, it'll never get any better.
