Hi,
I hear the word sprite used quite a lot. I know that its an image but why not just call it an image then? Is there something special about it or does it do something different?
Thanks

Sprites typically have behaviors associated with them (like movement) while images don't.

Every program can be reduced to one instruction which doesn't work.
