    error

    I got a Runtime error : '-2147467259 (80004005)'
Could not find file 'C:\Documents and Settings\Venom\Desktop\new vb games\mediaorganiser\filedb.mdb'

When I push 'OK' I get into the program and it doesn't seem to work at all.

I don't have VB installed on my machine therefore I don't have all of the components required so it wouldn't run.
Not very helpful. A good test would be to have it running on a standard non development machine.

I can't really test your code without all the additional files, these could be database files, OCX controls etc.

You have attached the executable only, the ideal would be a setup package.

I have attached the error. As I said I don't have VB installed therefore I don't have some of the controls required.

I find it very strange why the creator hasn't made any attempt to tell us why this program didn't work or what attempt he will make to add the components into the package...

I was kind of wondering that myself, one of the real tests for a piece of software is how it performs on a standard client machine not built for development.

Do they really want the feedback or is it a case of seeking for glory.
