Where do I get IIS for web applications?
I just uninstalled VB.NET so I could first install the needed software to allow web applications to run on my computer. The thing is, I don't know where to get IIS or Frontpage extentions.
Where do I get this stuff and is it a free download (like a service update)?
Thanks,
Joe

Its part of the OS. You can add it from the Add/Remove Programs bit in the control panel, its under the Add Windows Components part.

Thanks, I tried to find it once, but couldn't. The instructions seemed a little confusing. I will look again.
The OS is XP Pro.

To get somthing out of life, you always need to be persistant.

Great, I found it! OK, is there anything besides IIS that I need to install prior to the VB.NET installation?
Thanks again

When I inserted the OS CD, I had the option to install components. IIS was there.
