Web access failed
I am trying to use the web application function of VB.NET and I get a "Web access failed" error message.
I think I originally opted not to install the personal server (I think that is what you call it).
I tried to reinstall portions of VB.NET that were not installed previously, but I still get the same messages.
Any ideas?

If you are talking about personal server - it is probably Win98, which does not support web created with .NET.
If you are using IIS (internet information server) which must be installed on XP,2k or Nt then make sure that you have installed and configured it before installing VS.NET.

Thanks,
It is installed on XP Pro. Hmm, I guess this means I need to uninstall VB.NET Standard before I install IIS. I think IIS is what I should have installed from the start.
Dang, this will take hours.
