Dear Sir/Madam
I am using access 97 to develop an application. I would want my users not to temper or go to design view. How can I disable design view both on database window and the file menu so that the users do not disturb the application. I have downloaded a number of demos with the design view disabled.

See the thread "ACCESS to ACCESS". Two solutions: 1) Password Protect DB; 2) Encrypt Database. Both are Hackable, Password is fine in a non-hostile environment.

you could also compile the databse - this would stop users getting a look at your code, but they may still be able to see the table structure....
