    Exclamation Database DLL Problem **Resolved**

    I am using RDC to display reports frm vb6

    I am getting an error on client's PC that Database DLL cannot be found & client is not able to view reports. I have used pdsoledb.dll in my rpt files, as per information I got the dll should be present even on the client machine but I am not able to find pdsoledb.dll or even any other dlls like pdssql.dll.

    In the Report Designer Database Dll's are clearly menitoned in the Convert Database Driver Option i.e. pdssql.dll the native DB DLL then pdsoledb.dll for OLEDB Connections but why am I not getting these files on the development machine? I even tried to seek these files on the installation CD but was unable to find them..

    Help will be really appriciated.
    Client side messups are the most frustating ones. Pls Help

    Can you be a little more precise on the error message.
    Try looking on http://www.crystaldecisions.com and search their knowledge base.

    I think I have had a similar problem in the past. There are some files p2s***.dll

    I think one is p2sole.dll or something like that, I have a feeling that file is needed.

    Problem Solved

    Thankz for showing Interest

    CR8 uses p2s*.dlls replacing pds*.dlls. specifing the new DB DLLs in my RDC Code solved my problem
