    Why no bitmaps in the attachments?

    I've had to zip this up 'cos I don't have a jpg/gif editor on the work machine...

    The current version of Microsoft Paint will convert to jpg or gif.

    I don't have that either - I'm using a 5 year old copy of NT4 here

    oye. There are shareware programs that will do conversion too. They can be downloaded from a number of shareware sites. BMP files are generally much, much bigger than jpg and gif files. That is why they are not a valid upload.

    If you click the Convert BMP files to JPG files link in my signature you'll find a little tool that I wrote. It has some problems as you'll read in the thread but it works.
