Food for (non) thought?
House cafeterias change names for 'french fries' and 'french toast'
The cafeteria menus in the three House office buildings changed the name of "french fries" to "freedom fries," in a culinary rebuke of France stemming from anger over the country's refusal to support the U.S. position on Iraq.
...
"This action today is a small, but symbolic effort to show the strong displeasure of many on Capitol Hill with the actions of our so-called ally, France," said Rep. Bob Ney, R-Ohio, the chairman of the Committee on House Administration.
Everything I say is either loose interpretation of dubious facts or idle speculation rooted in irrational sentiment.

I agree, it's completely stupid. When i heard that on the news this morning I just shook my hand and turned the channel.
Those are the type of people who are ruining this country. People who think their opinions is what everyone's opinion should be.

they might
but those people who organize the menu in the federal building cafeterias are the types that get on TV for stupid stuff like that and are broadcasted to the rest of the world. And since alot of people who don't live in the US get most of their opinions about the US from TV (probably not entirely true, but I'm sure has some truth to it), it makes us look bad.
Yea our government isn't doing much for our image, but these people aren't helping.
see what i'm saying?
