Patches
Hello
Can anyone help
Is it possible to create patches for your software using the deployment tool that comes with visual studio.net?
Any help would be fab, cos i just cant find the answers i need

just create a setup or zip file with the changed files.

With .NET you should be able to just copy over the exe, which probably isn't too big.

So in fact create an update
The reason i ask is that with installshield you can create a 'Patch' that will change certain files
I was just wondering if there was a similar procedure within this new tool as i have not been able to find anything that says 'To create a patch....'
Does anyone have anymore suggestions
I really dont wanna go back to using installshield!!!

we want to use patches to send out to the public so they click on a setup.exe and this will overwrite maybe one file and they can also download the patch from the web....
