Sorry, we/ve got a cultural divde here,,,
I do not know "Only fools and horses ",
but from its name, it sounds rally good.!
Anyways, currently, I'm into "The Dead Zone", and "Smallville".
"Smallville" is pretty cool, as to being about CC, and John and Martha, in terms of CC before he decides to beome SM!.
A Teen Angst kinda soap, but with good actors, esp the one who plays Lex!
Also, TDZ, whos star is MAH, is the highest rated cable independent show! We've got David Ogden as Rev Purdy, the actress who took the trill after Jadzia {Dax} Died from DS9, An extremely talented sidekick, whom I have no idea what his name is, and the actor who plays john's ex fiance's hubby!
Great show!!!
OK, There are more, but these are my current, LIVE favs....

ok well smallville is a horrible show... worse than lois and clark even... i think pretty much everything on the WB network sucks, but anyways..thats just my opinion..
good shows are mostly on comedy central to me
South Park
Daily Show
Insomniac
all great shows
Simpsons is great too...
but i find most of the time i am watching history or discovery channel.. that way i dont feel as bad about sitting infront of the TV.. because at least i am learning something..
techTV is a cool channel.. i saw it when i was in maryland.. but i dont get it here
i think there is a space channel too.. i wish i got that as well

Dennis Leary's show "The Job" was friggin great... but it got canned... I just think people didn't get the humor.. another point one of the actors made out was that the show had NO laugh track... so people didn't even realize it was supposed to be funny at first... he said "You would be surprised how many people need to be told when to laugh to get the joke" and I think that is abundantly clear with stupid shows like Friends and such, that delude the dialog of the show with laugh tracks so that the home audience knows "oh yeah that was a joke.. haha"

Crank Yankers!!
Episode:
Special Ed Calling a record store
Ed: "I looking for the song that goes bump bump bump oooo yeah"
Record Store: "I'm not sure I know what song you mean?"
Ed: "You know bump bump bump oooo yeah"
Record Store: "It goes bump bump ooo yeah?"
Ed: "NO, it goes bump bump bump ooo yeah"
Record Store: "Bump bump bump oh yeah?"
Ed: "NO, listen to me...it goes bump bump bump oooo yeah!, now you do it, just like I did."
Record Store: "bump bump bump ooo yeah?"
Ed: "NO, BUMP BUMP BUMP OOOO YEAH!"
he has the record store person repeating it like 20 times! It's hilarious!

Some of the stuff was funny. But I didn't like it because the main character was cheating on his wife.
Ya, I know it's a big joke that all NY cops cheat on their wives.. but you have to like a guy to
laugh at his jokes, and that character was just an ass from my point of view.
Daily show is great!

If I recall correctly this was first used in the DD's Comedy Show, where the main character, DD is involved in an accident, uses the same method above to keep everyone occupied (including the cop) and gets out of the mess.

Agreed, but, look at that other comedy series...
Its a few years old now at this stage, but its about a group of people during world war 2.
They're in the french resistence.
There's also an italian cop...
I'll see if I can dig up a link...
