How to make an OCX
How do you go about making an OCX? I started to make a user control i dont know if that is the way to go. I am doing this in VB just incase. Also how would you go about making a better rich text box? Do you just drop a RTB on there and make your changes, in other words how do you accept text? Maybe I am just confused.

Stuck in the 80s
Yes, you start by making a user control. When you compile it, it compiles to an ocx.
Just drop a richtextbox into your control and start adding code. To inherit it's methods, just use the ActiveX Control Interface Wizard, in the Add-in Manager.

Well I wanted to change the text color and what not. like this post Like if you take the word if and change it to IF and then make it blue. I used the code provided by Matthew Gates but it flickers so I was going to attempt to write an OCX control to suite my needs a little bit better. So that was why I was asking. Maybe someone can just point me in the right direction.
