Difference between VB .net Standard and Pro

What is the diffrence in functionality between VB .net Standard Edition and Vb .net Professional Edition? I'm going to be doing ASP .net apps as well as VB .net Aps and Database stuff etc..

And what are the price differnces? I found VB .net Standar for $96.00

    Thanks!

    Differences are listed here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/vbasic/howtobuy/choosing.asp

As for price, you just have to shop around. Sounds like you already found a better price than the MS ones here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/vbasic/howtobuy/pricing.asp

Arc, if you can get the student discount, you can get the whole vs.net for pretty cheap.

    Example:

If you don't qualify, maybe someone you know does??....but not sure if that is legal.

Yah i've looked into the student discount thing and found VS .net for $99, however i dont qualify You gotta show class schedules and driversliscnece and get techers saing you go there and everything... pretty hard to get around that.
