Datareport problem

i have a database with datacontrols. However i have recently introduced a data report created using the data environment.

However, when i run the report first it works fine, but when i then try to access the main program, an error message occurrs saying that the database is open.

However, if i run my program first it works fine , if i then run the report an error occurrs saying something along the lines of 'error cannot retrieve rows'

Any help would be appreciated.
