    does anyone know how to add comments about a property.so the comments show up at bottom of property column when compiling ocx's

    Sure do. Use the procedure attributes dialog. It is located under the Tools menu. From there you can add descriptions to your properties and procedures (functions, subs, methods, etc...). Use the help file for more information, it documents it pretty well.
