I'm a newbie! Where to start?
Ok, I have used programs such as VB, Delphi and sadly pascal (for school) but now I wish to learn C++ as it's more versitile even though far more complex.
Anyway, does anyone know where someone with NO EXPERIENCE IN C++ could go for help? I went to a uni to find some books but currently they are checked out.
Thanks in advance!

Alcohol doesn't solve any problems, but then again, neither does milk.

Ah. Someone with my background of PLs.
You should do fine with C++. Amazingly, its like VB and pascal mix-matched. You should be able to find lots of books on C++ in stores. The big thick ones are usually very helpful (e.g. Sam's Teach Yourself C++ in 21 Days)
