RAS Error 756 "This connection is already being dialed"
I've created a Visual Basic application that uses the RAS
libraries to create a dialup connection and connect. It
works fine under Windows NT but testing for WIndows 2000
brings up this error:
RAS Error 756 "This connection is already being dialed"
this happens alot. One example is if the RAS connection
cannot be established (e.g. line busy) and you attempt to
connect again this error continuously occurs. am calling
the routines to hangup the RAS connection (even though no
connection has been established).
Can anyone help me out here? A quick search on the
internet has yielded minimal answers apart from the fact
that error #756 is specific to Windows 2000 (or higher).
Regards
Kumar

not too many chances to be useful, but... i think that a RAS connection remains 'open' from the OS point of view and attemts to redial after a delay, unless you specifically kill it.

yes, you are correct.
i delete the connection and create new connecton with the same name even though it's giving the same problem. is there any solution to kill?
