    Thumbs up oracle sql plus db which version????

    which oracle version should i get??
    im using xp(prefered) or w2k
    in their download site where too many versions

    and does sql plus use command line??

    hi,

    u can use any version of oracle on w2k or xp.

    which version u r using?

    u can run sqlplus at command line.

    goto command line

    and type sqlplus

    and type username & password.

    whats the diference between

    Oracle9i Database Release 2 Client for Microsoft Windows 98/2000/NT/XP

    and

    Oracle9i Database Release 2 Enterprise/Standard/Personal Edition for Windows NT/2000/XP

    or should i get 8i??
