    Free burning software for AOpen???

    For me it is a matter of principle not to use pirate software at all.
    It now happened that I got a CD writer as a gift, but without software. I really can't afford it to buy the burning software. Is there anybody who knows where to download free burning software which will work on an AOpen 52x24x52 CD writer?

    just get the free Nero version www.nero.com

    you can only use the express version(less options) but that works perfectly fine.

    I downloaded the free version, but on installing it asks for a serial number and warns that it will only work for 10 days. Did I do something wrong?

    When the 10 days is up, it will revert to Express mode. But still usable.
