Multiple Desktops
I installed a multiple desktop application thinking I would be able to use a completely seperate desktop for certain tasks.
I want to use a completely blank one for taking screenshots of my application and creating technical documents.
So I deleted all my shortcuts off that desktop.
Then switched back to my primary one, and they were all gone.
Erk.
So. Does anyone happen to know off-hand of any multiple desktop applications that will actually create a seperate desktop from the primary one ?

I'd install a second video card and have windows do it for me.

What did you use for mulitple desktops in the first place? The thing in the XP Powertoys?
Josh
Get these: Mozilla Opera OpenBSD
I have books for sale: "MCSD in a Nutshell" and "VB Distributed Exam Cram" - PM me for details. Will also trade for a decent ATX Pentium 2 MB/CPU/RAM combo.

A product called "MegaScale MultiDesktop Manager".
I must say that it does work very well.
No weird setup. Very very very quick and simple setup.
You should take a look.

Why did you delete them M8?
Just right-click the desktop >> arrange all icons >> show desktop icons. Uncheck it, and wham.... all icons gone (or hidden).
Or find some code for VB which does that automatically when you run a program! No idea on code, before you ask!

Paul.
