Lightbulb Skinnable X-Notes needs some Beta Testers!

Hey guys, my application called X-Notes is getting closer and closer to becoming complete and i need some beta testers to help find some bug that I couldn't. I've posted this before but no one contacted me, so instead I uploaded it.

What I'm looking for: I'd really like some positive feedback or negative feedback if you really dislike it, i've been working and learning a bunch lately about VB, and my programming skill isn't very high.... so i'd really like to know what you think about the program's functionability and any bugs you may come across. I'm hoping to make x-notes good enough to make it on the top skinning sites like deskmod.com and deviantart. Thanks everyone and i'm looking forward to the replies!

    Known Bugs
Invisible scrollbar - if you set the scrollbar to "visible" in the preferences, the only way to really make it visible is to click and drag where the scrollbar SHOULD be, this will make the invisible scrollbar visible. This is caused because i've made the rich text box transparent, and when API is used to show the scrollbar, it also stays invisible. If anyone knows a way to fix this problem, please post!

    it looks real cool..
the first thing i noticed though is that you should only apply the preferences changes when they cahnge..for instance if i click apply repeatedly in the pref. window, it applies everything again..so after 10 times, i get 10 icons ion the sys tray

    wat,
First it works great on Windows 98 Second edition, and has a great looking interface. I would use as my main notes program-well done!

Hey guys, thanks so much for testing it out... no one seemed to wanna give it a try. Thanks for the feedback though, and Paneb i see your point and i'm going to fix that right away... when it adds the 10 icons to the systray, you should be able to put your mouse over the sys. tray and 9 of them should disappear... i've got it so that it will write to an ini whether its selected or not and then i made the form refresh (the sys. tray icon form) and when the form unloads, and then loads it will add another icon and won't delete the current one... i'm going to try and find a way to fix the code... i'm not the best at API though. Well i'm off to prog some and go to bed... thanks again for the responses, if you find any more bugs PLEASE let me know!!!

    Hey Wat,

Send me a pm please on AIM (mitcheloc) or YIM (totomds). I'd like to discuss a few aspects of your project with you.
