Yugoslavia is no longer with us!
For the second time in the last 15 years I have changed my country of residence without mooving one cm.
As of today Federal Republic of Yugoslavia does no longer exist. We are now called (United States of) Serbia and Montenegro.
After 80 years the old Yuga is no longer with us.

So the last remnants have been cast aside. Which makes you a Serbian or a Montenegrian ? Or both ?
Anyway, best that it was done this way. Now to get you guys in the EU.

It's not THAT bad.
Hasn't Yugoslavia been gone for about 7 years now?
Yes and no - Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (so called "former Yugoslavia" - with republics of Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Macedonia) was gone in '92
Federal Rebulic of Yugoslavia was formed with just Serbia and Montenegro
Now we are more or less two different countries. The only common things are passports, aircraft conroll, military and such. Taxes are not.
Serbia gives 95% of the bujet, but for any federal law we need guys from Montenegro. In some fields their vote even counts twice!

I think its both in legal terms. But I am a Serbian.
I'm not so sure I want to go to EU. EU did make this new stupid country. It seems that to our government what Javier Solana thinks is more important than what 10 milion people think!
NO ONE asket the people if they want the new country and the new name. But than again, I think you call that democrasy.

Its Vojvodina and Novi Sad is not so north in Vojvodina. It's more in the middle and to the west.
Anyway nice of you to know anything about it. One NATO guy sayd it was the second largest city in Kosovo!
Yeah, it is. They call it the Serbian Athens, both becouse of the beauty and becouse its a cultural center. We had three beautiful bridges before the war: The graceful Freedom bridge, the old Varadin bridge stud there since WWII and the Zezelj's bridge - the largest solid concrete bridge in Europe. For the last one they sayd even a nuclear strike couldn't take it down and they were not far from the truth. It took NATO about two weeks of bobming to take it down. Actually, it was blown up by our demolison experts in the last moment, so it wouldn't fall in such way that it would block Danube. The cost of explosives to NATO for destroying it was much greater than the building cost!!!
Now we have one ugly temporary rail britge. But also we have one other new bridge. The beautifu "Varadinska duga". And its also a record-braker it was built in under 6 moths!

Hey, sorry bout that man. Your part of the world has ben through a lot latley. Too bad a bunch of **holes screwed it up for the rest of you. My family gets a card every year from a little girl in Kosovo. She sends it on the day that my little brothers squad parachuted in and blew the heads off of the 10 soldiers who raped and killed her 3 older sisters and mother, killed her dad and 2 younger brothers and raped her every day for a week straight. I guess it really sucks growing up on a farm in the middle of a battlefield.

Theres no doubt that the US tries do good, especially the soldiers...they're the ones who have to live with what they do. But there are numerous problems with their forein policy. They have to do much more to rebuild countries after military campaigns. Getting the bad guy out of power may be great, but the people are the ones who suffer. Infrastructure, and government must be rebuilt before they can say their job is done. That is how they will stop the very people they try to save from hating them for destroying their country.

I don know about Afganistan or Iraq, but they didn't do a single good thing in Serbia. When they could do nothing to our army they started destroying private houses, TV stations, schools and even hospitals. After our government basterds surrendered and withdow army from Kosovo all non-Albanians knew there was no way they could survive there, no matter how great the NATO presence. After just one month of being there a US KFOR soldger sayd: "Man, you can never trust an Albanian!"

Yes, if you trust CNN. All Americans realy did is establish one more base in Europe and rent a pipeline they needed. They also tested some new weapon types on us.
The Albanian para-milit. group KLA was the one doing all the killing. They even killed their own people to show scenes of "Serbian ethinc clensing".
And never forget that Serbia was only thing to stop Otoman (Turkish) Empire from spreding all over Europe.
