I know evey one is having good knowledge of VB. But i want to clarify my doubts like

What's the Big DIff between VB5 and VB6?

There are many new functions in Vb 6.0 than in 5.0 and more controls are available

e.g the split command only works in VB6 not VB5, if you attempt to open a project from vb6 in vb5 then you need to edit the project file a bit to make it compatable. In the long run it is better to use VB6 because it has many more functions and contains less bugs than VB5.

basically if you have bought vb5 there is not need to buy vb6, unless you have tons of money.......... it is nearly the same things except for several functions that are included but can be duplicated in VB5 ( microsoft provides them in msdn )..unless there was a specific thing that you are looking for.
