I am familiar on how to to do file locking using DAO in code. If you are connecting to an Access database through a Data Control placed on your form, how do you check to see if the record is open by someone else on a network?

Most of the application I've written uses DAO in code, but this part of the application I first used a wizard to create the form and attach to the database. I'm using VB5 (SP3). Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
