Sorry...but no.
It's not a worthiwile investment, as under international law, the sale is meaningless (Most countries signed a treaty to stop a single country caiming all the land up there, so sales like this have no leagal value )..probably makes a nice gift for someone who has everything, though!!

I read through some of the documentation there, it says that the claim was filed with the American government, but then there was some process with Russia (was the USSR then) and the UN or something, so I'm not sure if it's a case of one country laying claim. But it is one person of course

According to that website, you can also buy land on Mars, Venus & Io. I can already think of an advertising campaign for homosexuals to buy land on Uranus (pronounced your-anus). Just Kidding!
