    haptime virus-html

    hi

Last week a virus called "haptime" inflected all my html file..as a result , I think, some of my files dont work...for example I can not view my "DOCUMENT/VIEW/VIEW AS WEB PAGE" which helps me to see any image on the left side of my screen when clicked on any image...file...

is there any ."..exe "that I can download (instead of REINSTALLING WINDOWS) to repair this?

    thanks a lot

    What OS m8?

If its XP or Me... just restore it to a previous date. If not... it's more likely a DLL you need... not the exe.

I'm not aware of any file you could install though, sorry.

It's probably better (even though u won't want to) to format and re-install. You don't know what other files it's infected, and you could be back to square one in no time!

    Regards,

    Paul.

Or keep a quarantine of all your files, that you can go through using a text-editor or something to remove the virus from vital files.

Have you tried to search on Symantecs home page for help. They usually have help on how to fix things like that...
