Why text width differs when i change the printer from HP to Epson ??
i have designed a report while HP was the default printer, the report contains a field as wide as paper width, when i change the printer to Epson i can see only 85% of the text and 15% missing!
i know if there are many fields i should always leave a small gap so when i print using epson printer the text will be printed fully.
but in my case i need to ensure that text width will not change at all.
any solution ??

The following is from Crystal Help
Inconsistencies due to printer drivers
When printing, inconsistencies may occur if different printer drivers are used to create and print your reports. These inconsistencies are a result of the various methods that individual printer drivers use to measure text metrics such as font size. When printed, text-based objects may be misaligned, truncated, or overprint each other. Examples of text-based objects include string or character fields, text objects, memo fields, numeric fields, and formula fields.
I have an rtf file that describes printer dependencies and how to overcome them. I have zipped it but it is still too big, if you want it email me and I will send it to you.
