    Newbie Getting Started...

    I used to program embedded microcontrollers but would like to fiddle with some machine language and learn more about programming in assembler. Does anybody know where I can find the tools and resources to do so. I am the most underpaid developer on earth, so id there is a freeware or shareware compiler I should know of, plz let me know.
