Win2k/Win95 network
I have my main computer (Windows 2000) and my laptop (Windows 95) networked. They can ping each other, see each other, etc. Now, I have two questions:
1. The 2k computer can access the files on the laptop, but when I try to do the other way around, I get a box called "Enter Network Password" that says I need a password. The resource is "\\computer name\IPC$" and there is a password field. Where do I set this password?
2. I followed the steps on this site to set up my laptop to try to share my cable connection. However, it can't access the internet. What can I do to try and fix this?

Did you setup drives or folders sharing on the 200 machine? if so make sure the security settings on the 200 machine are stup correctly.

Would be the user name that you logged onto the laptop as. If there isn't a user on the 2K machine that matches the laptop's, create one (Control Panel > Users). Either way, give the new/existing user on 2K the same password as the laptop.
