Communication Problem
Hi
I have developed VB software for Serial COmmunication using MSCOMM. The software works very fine on Windows98 but fails on Windows 2000 / NT. Is there any difference in the handling of Serial ports in VB for W2K ?? please help

I just built an application that communicates with a character generator via serial port. I am quite proficient with the MSComm control. There should be no difference between 98 and 2000. My app is running on both. If you want to be more specific I will be happy to help.

JJK is correct, there should be no difference between windows 98 and windows 2000 machines.
