i want to make one of those old arcade games, where two rectangular bars, on either ends, keep moving up and down to keep a moving ball in play. the hardest part is figuring out how to make the balls bounce relative to the angle shot and also how it moves when it hits wall.

The game is called pong. If you want examples on pong games in vb, then search www.planet-source-code.com/vb/.

Haha, wow It's strange to see this message cuz I just made a pong game a few days ago, when i was bored. Well I guess you don't need my help then since oetje has an example project. Once you get going with it, why don't you mess around with the code and make the ball bounce off of your side of the screen even if it misses the paddle!? Yes it's cheating, and it's fun too >;D
To understand recursion, one must first understand the concept of recursion.
