    DVD ripping

    Hello. I am trying to RIP a DVD to my harddrive, I use a program called SmartRipper and it rips into 4 .vob files that are about 1GB each. I was wondering if anyone knew how to get these 4 .vob files into 1 .avi file that is about 800MB. Thanks.

    Why are you ripping your DVD's to hard drive???? Arent they good enough on the disk????

    www.doom9.org is THE source for DVD ripping. My suggestion: use XVID, 2 pass to do the encoding.
